REPERCUSIONES PSICOPATOLÓGICAS EN MUJERES MUSULMANAS MIGRANTES VÍCTIMAS DE VIOLENCIA DE GÉNERO Y FACTORES PSICOSOCIALES ASOCIADOS: UNA REVISIÓN SISTEMÁTICA

Resumen

Europa el principal destino de mujeres migrantes musulmanas que huyen de países árabes, incrementándose de manera progresiva la población migrante y nativa musulmana y, con ello, los retos de adaptación cultural y religiosa en cuanto a su evaluación e intervención psicológica. La presente revisión sistemática tiene como objetivo analizar las repercusiones psicopatológicas en mujeres musulmanas migrantes víctimas de violencia de género y los factores sociales, culturales y religiosos asociados al proceso de victimización. Un total de 14 artículos científicos fueron seleccionados. La ansiedad parece ser el principal cuadro sintomatológico derivado, seguido de sintomatología depresiva y de estrés postraumático. Los factores pre y postmigratorios resultan de considerable relevancia para el proceso de victimización y la expresión de violencia de género en sus formas física, sexual y/o psicológica/emocional y su interrelación y convergencia con procesos de aculturación (integración, segregación, identidad cultural y religiosa en su forma individual y social).

Abstract

Psychopathological Repercussions and Associated Psychosocial Factors in Migrant Muslim Women Victims of Intimate Partner Violence: A Systematic Review Europe is the main destination for Muslim migrant women fleeing Arab countries, progressively increasing the migrant and native Muslim population and, with it, the challenges of cultural and religious adaptation in terms of their psychological evaluation and intervention. The objective of this systematic review is to analyze the psychopathological repercussions in migrant Muslim women victims of intimate partner violence and the social, cultural and religious factors associated with the victimization process. A total of 14 scientific articles were selected. Anxiety was the main derived symptomatology, followed by depressive symptoms and post-traumatic stress. Pre- and post-migration factors are of considerable relevance to the process of victimization and its convergence with acculturation processes (integration, segregation, cultural identity and religious in its individual and social form).
